RSG support arrival of Thibault Franck

The Rovers Supporters Group have once again supported the club with squad strengthening by offering to contribute to the signing and relocation of new French half-back Thibault Franck.

Eighteen-year-old Franck joined his teammates for the start of pre-season training a few weeks back and the support from the RSG has been a huge help with the challenge of relocating to another country. “I would like to thank the RSG for the support they have given me since joining Hull KR, it has made me feel very welcome at the club” added Franck.

The promising young half back had previously been with the Catalans Dragons playing in their under 19’s but didn’t feel he could turn down the opportunity of joining Hull KR: “James Webster got in touch and said Hull KR were interested in me and from that moment I knew it was a challenge that I wanted to take on. Even though there was interest from other UK based clubs as soon as I spoke with Rovers I knew this was where I wanted to come and play my rugby,” he added.

The RSG was relaunched in November 2016 and surpassed all membership targets, as well as organising social events for supporters and aiding communication between the club and fans, one of the fundamental goals of the RSG is to support Rovers in signing players for the academy and first team squad. This goal has been achieved repeatedly over the last twelve months with the RSG assisting the signings of Zach Dockar-Clay, Chris Atkin and Mose Masoe.

The RSG is open to all Hull Kingston Rovers supporters, with membership costing just £5. Membership forms are available at the Rovers Retail store, the Robins Nest before all home games and on the RSG website

Please note that all 2017 RSG members will need to re-join for 2018.
