2018 fixtures revealed for Rovers’ return to Super League

Hull Kingston Rovers can reveal the club’s fixtures for the 2018 season when the Robins will return to the Betfred Super League following promotion.

Tim Sheens’ side get their campaign underway with a home tie against Wakefield Trinity at KCOM Craven Park on Friday, 2nd February (8pm). This match will not be televised but is being played on the Friday evening due to the club’s trip to Leeds in Round 2 on Thursday, 8th February (7.45pm) when new signing Danny McGuire will be handed an early opportunity to face his former teammates at Elland Road.

Next up is a home tie against Catalans Dragons in a rearranged Round 12 game. This will be played on the weekend of the World Club Challenge due to a fixture clash later in the season when Rovers will enter the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup ahead of Super League’s top-eight.

Other highlights over the course of the season include a Good Friday derby against Hull FC at KCOM Craven Park on Friday, 30th March which will be followed by a trip to Wigan Warriors on Easter Monday.

The club will round off the season with a final home game against Warrington Wolves and then a reverse fixture against the Black and Whites in Round 23 at KCOM Stadium on Friday, 27th July.
