Welcome to Hull Kingston Rovers...
We're delighted you're interested in visiting and supporting one of the most famous and historic clubs in Rugby League. These are exciting times to be involved with Hull Kingston Rovers and we would be delighted for you join us and experience a matchday for yourself.
The Lightstream Stadium has been the home of Hull KR for the last 25 years, prior to that the club played where the Morrisons Supermarket currently stands on Holderness Road, (known as Craven Park). Significant redevelopment of the ground has taken place in recent years to accommodate a growing supporter base and fulfill the needs of the modern day supporter, most notable is the £8 million new North Stand which opened for the first time in the 2014 season. The stadium is made of four stands detailed below...
Colin Hutton Stand
With 2,600 seats, a new restaurant and 10 executive boxes, the new North Stand has transformed the Lightstream Stadium's matchday experience - for both home and away fans. The stand will have a specific area set aside for families who want to experience the unique matchday experience together.
Ideal for... the North stand is ideal for families or supporters who want to be near the try line to witness all the action close up.
Joinery Depot Stand
Famous for it's partisan nature and vociferous noise it produces on a matchday the terraced East Stand is famous across Rugby League. Packed with 5,000 fans this is the place to be on a matchday. Whilst many families do watch from the East Stand, due to the terraced nature of the stand views can become limited for small children as the popular areas get full. The advice for families is to arrive early and secure your spot or stand against the rail at the front of the Stand for unrestricted views.
Ideal for... supporters who enjoy a lively matchday atmosphere in a busy environment.
Based at the far end of the ground on a curve from when the Stadium used to host Speedway and Grey Hound Racing the South Stand offers a different perspective of the stadium. The stand is usually not on sale on a match by match basis as it is reserved for club sponsors and community partners who invite their own guests looking to sample Rugby League for the first time. Some views in the South Stand are restricted, particularly for Children towards the the front of the stand so supporters are advised to use a different stand when there's sufficient availability. The stand is uncovered so check the weather before you turn up and bring your brolly if it's forecast rain.
Ideal for... those who would enjoy a different perspective of the game from behind the goal posts.
Roger Millward Stand
Made up of both pitch side seating with arguably the best views in the house and terracing know as 'the well'. The West Stand is generally considered the 'main' stand in the stadium. The seating area is a mixture of long standing Season Membership holders and corporate guests. It is a popular option amongst supporters with availability usually limited, available seats are usually based at either side of stand overlooking a try line... perfect to watch those all important tries being scored!
Ideal for... supporters who want a good overview of the pitch and all the action.
Rugby League prides itself on being a family sport, with home and away fans mingling and enjoying the game together, ticket prices at affordable levels and lots of activities going on to keep everyone entertained aside from the 80 minutes of Rugby League as part of the matchday experience. Once again in 2017, we'll continue to offer our dedicated Family Zone in the Colin Hutton Stand. With plenty of fun activities such as face painting, competitions and giveaways…as well as regular appearances from the one and only Rufus the Robin…the family zone will be the place for parents and their children to cheer on the Robins!
Rufus the Robin
Rufus is the club's official mascot, often voted as the best in the league keep a close eye on him as you'll never know what he'll do next! Whether he's flying into the stadium via helicopter, squirting supporters with his water pistol or throwing sweets into the crowd you can be sure he's causing mischief somewhere much to the delight of children and adults alike! Follow Rufus on Twitter to catch-up on his latest antics @Official_Rufus.
Fixtures & Game day
We traditionally play our home games on a Sunday with a kick off time of 3pm, however sometimes TV and other league commitments mean we have to move to a different slot. A full list of our home fixtures, including kick off times and dates can be found online here, so pick your game and we'll see you there!
On a game day the turnstiles open two hours before the big kick off, on the way in you'll be able to buy a matchday programme priced at £3, if it's your first time at a Rugby League game the programme is a great way to get up to speed with the players names, more information about Hull KR and the opposition team. Each stand has a bar which you can access before the game to pick up alcoholic and soft drinks plus snacks. Ask the nearest steward or member of staff for directions to your nearest bar.
How to buy tickets
In 2014, the club introduced 'Season Memberships', you may hear some fans still refer to these as 'Season Passes', these are Memberships which allow you access to all home league games plus other benefits. Buying a Season Membership is the most cost effective way of coming to all the games with a saving which works out to the equivalent of around five games free per season.
Match by match tickets can be bought for the next upcoming fixture online at hullkr.co.uk/tickets, over the phone by calling the ticketing hotline on 01482 222072 or by visiting our Rovers Retail Store which is located down Savile Street in Hull City Centre, opening hours are 9am - 5pm Monday to Saturday.
Tickets are individually priced and vary based on the stand within the stadium, age or status (e.g. Student concessions). If you purchase a ticket online you will be given the option to print it off there and then, simply bring this along on game day and it will be scanned as you enter the stadium to grant you access. Alternatively, or for those who buy in store or via phone you can collect tickets from the Club shop in advanced of the game or at the stadium from the matchday ticket office which is located in the Roger Millward Stand.
Tickets for popular stands often sell out ahead of game day, please check hullkr.co.uk for the latest ticket information ahead of the game. Tickets on a game day are available from the Roger Millward Stand. For busy games we sometimes open the ticketing pod in the North West corner of the stadium, however this is for away fans only.

If you have any questions on the day, whether it's why the referee has made a certain decision, who a player is or the words to a song that is singing just ask another fan near you and they'll be more than happy to help you out! Supporters often make friends at games which last a lifetime so don't be shy.
