Traineeship work placement programme
If you are aged 16 to 18 and not currently in education or training this may be for you!
The Hull Kingston Rovers Community Trust are running a new work placement programme in conjunction with Education Through Sport. The learners will assist Community Trust coaches with the delivery of various programmes whilst Education Through Sport deliver work preparation training and English and Maths.
- 16-20 week education and training programme that offers young adults work experience in community trusts and the wider sports coaching industry.
- Delivered in partnership with sports education specialists, SCL, the traineeship comprises of – a high quality work experience placement, work preparation training, English and Maths (if required).
- Programme will consist of 4 days work experience with the club and one day education (29 hours total).
- On completion of the traineeship it could open up exit routes such as apprenticeships in leisure, fitness, activity leadership and school sport. Further & higher education such as honours degrees, foundation degrees, other degrees or level 3 programmes. Also, employment within sport and leisure industry in the UK and abroad.
