RSG Supporting Hull KR’s Academy and Future Development
Hull Kingston Rovers are delighted to receive a donation of filming equipment from the Rovers Supporters Group (RSG) for the club’s academy. The equipment will be used to film academy games and training to further improve the development of the Robins’ rising stars.
RSG committee members, Keith Lyon and Ian ‘Adge’ Cutler were on-hand to present Hull KR Head of Youth, John Bastian with the new equipment. The RSG is committed to supporting Hull KR’s future with the proceeds of their fundraisers and events going towards the club’s academy.
John Bastian noted at the presentation “First and foremost, a big thank you to everyone that supports the RSG. The committee – led by Keith Lyon, have been terrific in supporting the juniors for many years now.
“They’ve secured us a new camcorder, stand, and accessories that will allow us to start doing more filming regarding our junior games – academy, u16s, and training sessions. It will make a big difference.
“There are other things that the RSG are helping us with at the moment that we’ll speak about at a future date. But all these little things, they really play a part in helping us to progress and develop juniors at Hull Kingston Rovers, so big thank you to them.”
