Having made his first team debut for the club in 2015, Lawler has gone on to secure a regular place in the Rovers side over the past two seasons and is a player tipped with a very bright future in the game.

Deceptively strong, Lawler is an intelligent and rugged player who gets through his fair share of work in attack. One of the fittest members of the squad, he’s got a terrific engine to match his rugby brain, allowing him to play either in the back row or at hooker.

Lawler is a former Academy Player of the Year who came through the academy ranks at the club after impressing with local amateur side West Hull in the National Conference League.
