‘KRazy flight’ game App launched…

Hull Kingston Rovers have teamed up with Eon Visual Media to launch a new free app called ‘KRazy Flight’.

The game, which is available on both Apple and Android App Stores challenges fans to fly Rufus safely to Old Trafford for the 2019 Betfred Super League Grand Final with an opportunity to submit your score to win prizes.

As all supporters know, the trip to the Super League Grand Final is never straight forward for any club and you will have to navigate Rufus through lots of obstacles and opposition clubs to get there.

Speaking of the game, the club’s Head of Marketing, Craig Franklin commented. “Around two years ago we put together a strategy called ‘operation birdseed’ where we looked at Rufus the Robin and discussed how important he was to attracting the next generation of support. He is arguably more recognisable than most players, so we have worked to further boost his profile by giving him his own kit, reviewing his social media and matchday presence, introducing his best friend Rover the Dog to the Hull KR family, and creating specific Rufus retail ranges.

The App is the latest way we have committed to that ongoing strategy and further investment into engaging with supporters digitally in ways you would perhaps not expect from a Rugby League club. The game is really addictive and with the new season still over two months away we are hoping the game can be a focal point for some light hearted competition and fun. As always we are grateful to Matt Dass and the team at Eon for their support.”
