Keinhorst and Milnes Recalled

Hull Kingston Rovers can confirm that Jimmy Keinhorst and Rowan Milnes have been recalled from their respective loan deals.

Milnes, who signed for the club alongside Elliot Minchella, Anesu Mudoti, Joe Keyes and Matthew Storton from Bradford Bulls, stayed at his hometown side to gather valuable experience.

The Bradford-born playmaker featured at number six for the Bulls and was ever present for their short-lived 2020 campaign, playing a pivotal role in their success.

Jimmy Keinhorst will return to Hull College Craven Park to link up with a new look side, since last featuring for the club in 2019.

Keinhorst will help bolster the back-line for the Robins with Ben Crooks and Adam Quinlan out through injury.

CEO, Mike Smith said: “I would like to thank Mark Sawyer and John Kear from Bradford Bulls and Jon Flatman and James Ford from York City Knights for their co-operation in making this happen.

“We have a great relationship with both these clubs and therefore the process was easy and seamless.

“Tony (Smith) asked to strengthen the current squad and it made total sense to bring our own players back home first.”
