“I’m really enjoying being here” – Jimmy Keinhorst
Hull Kingston Rovers match winner Jimmy Keinhorst spoke this week following his dramatic late try in the Hull derby, and the upcoming clash with Warrington.
Keinhorst commented on his decision to join the club and his first experience in front of a packed Craven Park.
“It was a pretty dramatic finish to the game, I’m pleased that the main thing that we took away from it was that we got the two points.” Said Keinhorst
“I’m really enjoying being here, I’m really happy that I made the move. To be a part of that game was a good game to kick off with.”
“The crowd was good, the fans were special, so I’m looking forward to plenty more of that.”
“We have come down from it and cracked on with training this week and looking ahead to Warrington.”
Keinhorst also went on to speak about the Robins round two clash against the Warrington Wolves.
Tipped by many as favourites for the title this year, Keinhorst is expecting a tough clash on the road.
Keinhorst highlighted his personal battle against Bryson Goodwin and Ryan Atkins as an area for the side to focus on.
“We’ve been looking at the game and how they dismantled Leeds, they are strong across the field, so we’ve worked on a few things this week.” Said Keinhorst.
“They are tipped to be up there at the end of the season, but we’ll head into Saturday’s game with a bit of confidence and hopefully cause a bit of an upset.”
“They have plenty of strike in the centres with Goodwin and Atkins, so we have to handle that, especially coming out of their end, coming into our redzone and keeping them out.
“There are plenty of things that we know that we can work on from the last game. Hopefully bit by bit we will keep on improving and continue to challenge.”Back To Latest News +
