Heart warming messages from fans…

Following Owner Neil Hudgell’s letter to supporters on Friday the club have received a flood of heart warming emails from fans across the country. We’ve shared a selection below…

The club would like to thank all supporters who have responded on social media or taken time to write to us. It means a lot to all the players and staff.

Please note we’ve removed any names / references the individual supporter for privacy reasons.

“Please pass on this family’s sincere appreciation to Neil Hudgell.  He’s supported our club and (more than anyone) ensured it remained in existence for the last 15 years or so.  It is so easy for people to criticise when results go badly on the field but how foolish those who do-so are. The true fans recognise this and are with you whatever the players achieve.  So a big thanks to Neil and his staff who continue to make match days possible and the experience they are.”

“We are first year members since my son joined your LDRL team 2 yrs ago. We are also season ticket holders at Hull FC and have been for many, many years. We are black and whites. Sorry!”

We do not want our season ticket money back regardless of what happens this season. Your club has given us far more in the last two years than any public service ever has.

What you do for the community is remarkable, world class and it matters beyond rivalries because it makes a huge difference. Rugby league matters to communities.

In the meantime, our family are on hand to help your club in any way we can. It’s a rugby league thing.”

‘I’ll support Hull KR come hell or high water – no refund of any monies for my season pass.’

“Neil, you have supported one of our joint interests financially for the last 14/15 years in Hull KR, and it is now our turn to reciprocate. We will for as long as time permits support you in your efforts to keep one of our families joys afloat.

As a 56 year old who has supported HKR since I first travelled from Bridlington as a 12 year old with my Farther, I am sure I will not be the only one to offer the “Family Club” their up most support.”

‘As a season ticket holder, which I bought prior to the start of the season, whatever happens I shall not be requesting any financial refund on the pass.  I know this is a minuscule gesture for the club.’

“How can I pay membership until the end of the year? I cannot attend any matches anyway due to ill health, but it might help the club this season a little bit.”

‘I love this club and would not be expecting any refund for missed games.

All in it together and if there’s anything I can do through these unprecedented times let me know.

Like when we backed the club through relegation, I’m sure many others would just keep that direct debit going until we see the boys turn out again.
