Dagger signs extension until 2023
Hull KR are delighted to announce Will Dagger has signed a new two-year extension, keeping him at Hull College Craven Park until the end of 2023.
The 22-year-old has made an immediate impact in his return from injury, starring in the Robins’ back to back victories over Leigh and Castleford – picking up Sky Sports’ Man of the Match in the latter.
An exciting and hard-hitting fullback, Dagger can also play along the back-line in addition to the halves.
Tony Smith added: “I’m pleased for Will. It’s based on the way he applies himself on and off the field. We feel we’re going to be able to help him develop over the next few years.
“We want hardworking, talented young players coming through at the club. For his young age, he’s been around the professional game a long time now and we feel he can help us progress as a team. I’m looking forward to working with him for the next two years.”
