James Webster

Assistant Coach

A former Hull Kingston Rovers captain who earned legendary status in east Hull when leading the Robins side which gained promotion to Super League in 2006, James Webster is now part of the coaching staff as an assistant to Tim Sheens.

Webster first returned to KCOM Craven Park in 2016 after taking over as interim head coach following the departure of Chris Chester. With previous coaching experience at Wakefield Trinity Wildcats and the City of Hull Academy, Webster was brought back into the fold with the intention of remaining as part of the backroom staff following his spell in charge.

Together with fellow assistant David Hodgson, Webster provides vital support to Sheens and is responsible for overseeing his side’s defensive performance.
