2020 Dacia Magic Weekend fixtures revealed at Newcastle’s St James’ Park!
Hull Kingston Rovers will bring the curtain down on the 2020 Dacia Magic Weekend on its return to Newcastle!
St James’ Park is the venue for the annual rugby league festival on the late May Bank Holiday Weekend!
Rovers will face Wakefield Trinity on Sunday at 5pm, as Tony Smith faces former KR head coach Chris Chester.
The event had a four-year stint in Newcastle between 2015 and 2018, attracting record crowds in 2017.
Magic Weekend, which has also been held in Manchester, Edinburgh and Cardiff in its history, moved to Anfield for the first time in 2019.
Saturday’s headline fixture is a repeat of the 2019 Betfred Super League Grand Final as St Helens and Salford Red Devils play each other at 5.15pm on May 23, in-between Castleford Tigers against Catalans Dragons and Leeds Rhinos vs Hull FC.
Dacia Magic Weekend debutants Toronto Wolfpack play Huddersfield Giants at 12.30pm on Sunday, ahead of Wigan Warriors v Warrington Wolves, who faced each other at Anfield in 2019.
