Craig Sandercock’s post match reaction
Craig Sandercock wants a full 80 minute performance from his side tonight against the Castleford Tigers.
Consistency has been the call in this week's preparations and for the first time this season, the Robins' Head Coach will hopefully be able to field the same 17 to aid that cause.
However, Craig Hall and Jake Webster will not be available for selection and are both targeting the Good Friday derby against the rivals from across the city for their returns.
"I thought Castleford were a little bit unlucky last week against Hull FC," Sandercock said. "They have got a big side and when they play at home they seem to grow another arm and a leg.
"They have a world class player in Rangi Chase who is a current international and we know all about the threat he poses.
"We try and approach every game with a certain level of confidence because we install a game plan that the boys will follow. But when you get a win like the one against Huddersfield, it installs a bit of self belief in the players which is really important."
After tonight's encounter, the Robins face two games in three days over the Easter period with trips both to Hull FC and the Salford City Reds. It'll present a new challenge for Sandercock who has never experienced two games in three days before.
"It is something I have never encountered before in the NRL and I will be taking some advice from some people who have been in that situation before," he added.
"Obviously, it is all about managing and rehabilitating after the derby game and getting the boys ready the best we can. In terms of preparation there is no preparation really, it is making sure the boys come through that period both physically and mentally."
