Matchday magazine gets a makeover

The start of the 2012 Super League season heralded the dawn of a new era for the club and as part of that we've rebranded the matchday magazine and given it a big makeover!

Issue one of ‘Rovers Review' will be on sale at the game against Saints this weekend and brings with it a new look and feel for the new season.

Aussie full-back Shannon McDonnell is our first ‘cover star' of 2012 and he also features on the inside of the matchday magazine as Michael Park chats with him about his career back in the NRL and the reasons why he decided to join the Robins.

Fellow Aussie Michael Dobson is also featured as we take a look back on his first 100 appearances in a Rovers' shirt. It's been an eventful three and a half years for the scrum-half and in an exclusive interview he reflects on the highs and lows for both himself and the club during that time.

In a brand new feature for 2012 we're also looking to select the greatest ever Hull KR 13 and it's your opinions that will count! Each Super League issue of ‘Rovers Review' will see us give you five choices for one of the 13 outfield positions and you'll be able to vote for who you think should make it into the greatest 13.

Issue one starts with the full-back role and details of how you can let us have your vote are contained within the feature. When we unveil the ‘Greatest Ever 13' at the end of the year it will be purely you, the supporters, who will have selected it.

If all of the above isn't enough to whet your appetite then don't worry as there's a whole lot more on top of that. Chairman Neil Hudgell gives his considered thoughts in his regular column, as does Head Coach Craig Sandercock, whilst we also look back at the career of the late, great Arthur Beetson.

Add in a big feature on the Academy's recent trip Down Under, plus the chance to win a free season pass for 2013, and we hope you'll agree that ‘Rovers Review' will be well worth a read!

Priced at just £2.50, issue one will be sale around Craven Park on Sunday so make sure you pick up your copy!
