Trust launch new Rugby Rascals and Walking Rugby

Are you looking for new ways to get fit or something new to try in the New Year?

Hull KR Community Trust are pleased to announce that they are launching two new rugby programmes.

In association with Hull City Council’s Healthy Lifestyles Team, Rovers Rugby Rascals has been developed for children aged 2 – 5 years. Sessions will begin from the middle of January, will cost £1 per child and will take place here at the Lightstream Stadium.

Each six-week block will include delivery from a fully qualified coach, fun activities and skills coaching. Children will need to be accompanied by parents or guardians and there will be refreshments available after each session.

Walking Rugby is for adults aged 50 plus who are looking to improve their fitness, make new friends and learn new skills. Weekly sessions will cost £2 and take place here at the stadium. Sessions will include warm ups, an explanation of the rules and opportunities to play. There will also be a chance to cool down at the end of the sessions with refreshments available.
