Club thank community membership contributors

Hull Kingston Rovers would like to thank the following people for their generous support in purchasing community memberships for the 2017 season.

Community memberships were introduced by the Robins in conjunction with the Hull KR Community Trust for 2017 following requests from a number of fans wanting to go above and beyond in their financial support of the club in the Kingstone Press Championship.

Any supporter who wished to contribute was able to make a donation online, with the Trust collecting the proceeds and using them to buy memberships from the club to be distributed to worthy causes within the local community.

After the initial target was reached on the opening weekend alone, a total of £3,000 was raised, with memberships being donated to the following local charities for use throughout the 2017 season.

The club would now like to formally thank the following people for their generous support: PA Chambers, Philip Branford, Diane Freeman, C Nicholson, Julie Grewer, Robert Beckett, I Rooke, G Musgrove, Robert Beckett, C Riley, David Graves, Paul Wilkinson, David Young, A Mortimer, K Tranmer, A Dickson, L Nickolay and CD Glen.

The money raised via the community memberships scheme has been used to buy memberships for the following charities:

• The Warren
• St Stephen’s Neighbourhood Centre
• Barkers Breakfast Club
• Rotary Youth Club
• The Maxlife Youth Project
• Preston Road Women’s Centre
• Child Dynamix
• Hull Scorpions Baseball Club
• Emmaus Hull and East Riding
