PhD Nutrition continues sponsorship of Hull Kingston Rovers

Local nutrition experts PhD Nutrition has extended its partnership with Hull Kingston Rovers into 2017 after agreeing to continue its support as the club’s official sports nutrition provider and long-standing kit sponsor.

Working closely with Hull KR’s Head of Athletic Performance Tom Clough and Head of Strength and Conditioning Shane Carney, PhD’s role as official supplier sees it providing a range of quality supplements to the first team squad as part of its performance programme at Rovers.

PhD Nutrition’s commercial partnership with the club will also see it continue as sock sponsor on our soon-to-be-revealed home and away kits next season.

Rachel Copley, Marketing Director at PhD Nutrition, said: “We are delighted to be continuing our support of both the first team squad and the club as a whole next season.

“We have always been proud of our roots in the city and eager to work with the local professional clubs to further develop the PhD Nutrition brand. Having the chance to provide elite rugby league players at Hull Kingston Rovers with our products is hugely rewarding and the feedback from both parties has always been nothing but positive.

“Our aim is to provide people at all levels of sport and exercise with the products they need and have always considered appearing on the club’s home and away kits to be an excellent way of promoting our supplements to rugby league fans up and down the country.”

Hull KR’s Head of Commercial Joe Clutterbrook added: “There was never any doubt in our mind that we would wish to continue our partnership with PhD Nutrition on all levels next season and we are thrilled to have them on board once again.

“If we are to push for immediate promotion from the Kingstone Press Championship in 2017, it’s important that we continue to conduct ourselves as a Super League club on and off the field and our partnership with PhD Nutrition will continue to give Tim Sheens’ squad access to some of the best training supplements on the market next season.”

Originally founded in Hull, PhD Nutrition is now one of the leading national brands for sports nutrition products. It also works with a number of elite athletes across many different sports disciplines, including London 2012 Olympic gold medal-winning boxer Luke Campbell.

Whether you are a first team player or a supporter just starting out in the gym, the company has earned a reputation for producing supplements that not only taste great but deliver results, whilst their brand ambassadors are carefully chosen to match their sporting ideals, ethics and ambition.
