bright-I agree three-year kit sponsorship deal

Club partners bright-I will continue to increase their involvement with Hull Kingston Rovers in 2017 after agreeing a three-year deal as a shirt sponsor.

The insurance broker is part of the same stable as Outbox and Vobis – a group of successful companies which first started working with the Robins four seasons ago before steadily developing its ongoing relationship with the commercial department at the Lightstream Stadium.

Having taken over the sleeve sponsorship on KR’s new home and away shirts next season from its sister firm Outbox, bright-I will remain as a long-term partner of the club over the next three seasons and will be heavily involved during next year’s Kingstone Press Championship campaign.

A regular matchday sponsor with the club, bright-I will also sponsor new prop Nick Scruton along with up-and-coming hooker Will Jubb in 2017.

Marc Hackney, Group Managing Director at bright-I, said: ”Straight after the dreaded game which shall remain nameless we knew we would continue and increase our support to the club. Hull KR is an important part of the community and we very much want to support them on their way back to Super League. Everything we have seen so far suggests the club has a great chance of doing that.

“Even if that was not to happen we wanted to commit to the club for the long term, so we are delighted to have worked with the excellent commercial team in committing to the club for a further three years.”

A national firm which moved their head office to Hull, the home town of one of their directors, bright-I is an insurance broker which aims to change the way insurance brokers work.

Whether it be personal insurance such as home or car or protection for your business, the company’s mission is to provide insurance with integrity and to make sure those obtaining insurance get the right cover at the right price.
Hull KR’s Head of Commercial Joe Clutterbrook added: “Having this three-year commitment from bright-I is fantastic news for the club.

“They’re an example of a national business with Hull ties that is willing to invest within the local community and we’re proud they have chosen to associate themselves with the club on a long-term basis.

“Their involvement with us has steadily increased to the point where they are now one of our most committed and reliable sponsors, as was highlighted by them getting in touch straight after the Million Pound Game to say they will be staying on board.

“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank them for their continued support and say we are looking forward to working with them for at least another three years.”
