Club to trial removing away ticket booking fees
Hull Kingston Rovers’ ticketing department are to trial the removal of booking fees when supporters purchase tickets online from the club for away matches at the start of the new Betfred Super League season.
The Robins will remove booking fees on any tickets purchased by supporters for the Round 2 clash against Leeds Rhinos at Elland Road and the Round 4 fixture against Salford Red Devils in Round 4 to monitor the impact.
Hull KR would also like to make supporters aware that the club will now receive 25 per cent of the ticket revenue for all tickets sold for away games in Super League next season. This is an increase from 10 per cent when the club was last in the competition, which has allowed the club to try out the removal of booking fees on away tickets.
The club is therefore urging all supporters planning on cheering on Rovers on the road next season to pre-purchase all of their away tickets from the Rovers Retail store or online at www.hullkr.co.uk/tickets so that the club can further benefit from our excellent travelling support.
Booking fees were removed for online ticket for all home games at KCOM Craven Park before the start of last season and this policy will once again continue in 2018.
