Strength & Performance Coach

Hull Kingston Rovers currently sit top of the Kingston Press Championship, with the sole aim of gaining promotion to Super League by the conclusion of the current season.

As part of our push for promotion we are looking for a full time Strength & Performance Coach to help us manage our day to day gym programmes and GPS data management.

The aim of this role is to provide specialist coaching and programming to improve physical performance of all 1st team players whilst finding ways to feedback performance data to players and coaches to facilitate improvements.

The role requires a self starter who can find ways to contribute to this already successful and forward thinking department. The successful person will work directly with the Head of Strength & Conditioning and will be expected to lead, plan, programme & implement coaching whilst capturing, analysing and reporting performance data to all coaching staff and players.

Expertise & Experience
*Relevant degree and certifications
*GPS systems (in particular Catapult)
*S&C programming in Rugby
*Excellent communicator
*Passionate about coaching
*Previous experience working in professional sport (Minimum 2 Years)

Job Description

Hull Kingston Rovers Community Trust (the Trust) are recruiting staff for an exciting new project which will ensure that the club’s rich heritage and history is maintained, celebrated and accessible to the community.

As Programme Coordinator you will be integral to the success of this project ensuring that the heritage project provides a quality service to all those with an interest in the history of Hull Kingston Rovers. You will need to be an excellent leader with experience of delivering funded projects and have a history/heritage background.

You will need a professional approach as you will be expected to deliver a high level of customer service. You will need to have excellent organisational skills as well as being creative and innovative. This will be a demanding yet rewarding role and therefore the ability to work calmly under pressure is required.

This role is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
