HORNE TESTIMONIAL IS DECLARED ALL-TICKET
Wednesday 25th November 2009
There has been unprecedented interest on both sides of the river for this fixture and as such the decision was taken to make the game all-ticket.
Horne, celebrating 10 years' service to his hometown club, is set to be joined in his Testimonial match by new high profile recruits Sean Long, Craig Fitzgibbon and Mark O'Meley, who are all in line for their Hull FC debuts.
Rovers are also pledging to field their best selection, which could provide a first outing for ex-Hull FC forward Josh Hodgson as well as fellow newcomers Matt Cook and Mike Ratu.
Horne's Testimonial Committee, who are staging the high profile pipeopener to the 2010 Super League campaign, have fixed a standard adult admission price of £15 for all parts of the KC Stadium.
Pensioners and students will be at the concession price of £12, with juniors pegged at £5.
Horne explained: "The derby encounter is attracting tremendous interest, especially with the expected debuts of a host of new players. It is also Hull FC's only home curtain raiser to the new season.
"But we want to maintain our Testimonial philosophy of providing value for money for the fans, on this occasion both Hull FC and Hull KR.
"With only two home-and-away derby matches scheduled for 2010, we are looking forward to a pre-season blockbuster with each team bidding for first bragging rights of the new year."
Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday 2nd December from the ticket office at KC Stadium.
The West Stand and centre section of the East Stand will be reserved seats. The remainder of the ground will be unreserved seats, including the initial exclusive allocation of 3,100 seats in the North Stand for Rovers supporters.
Tickets will go on sale for the West, East and South Stands from Wednesday 2nd December from the ticket office at KC Stadium.
Hull FC 2010 season pass holders will have until Friday 31st December to purchase their dedicated seat. Unallocated season pass seats will be put on general sale from Monday 4th January.
The North Stand allocation for Rovers supporters will be available from club outlets at the start of January on a date and times to be announced.
A decision to open the upper tier of the West Stand will be made subject to early ticket sales.
Hospitality is available at the Testimonial match for either a three-course lunch package or executive box hire. For details ring 07814-937642, email david@howesetc.co.uk or visit www.richardhorne.co.uk.
