The deal, commencing in December 2009, is one of the most significant partnerships that Hull Kingston Rovers have made in their 127 year history and has significant reciprocal benefits for both parties.
As part of the deal, Sportingbet.com has secured an extensive portfolio of Hull KR rights, including the distinctive brand appearing on the front and back of the home and away jerseys as well as the club's training kit. Sportingbet.com branding will also feature prominently in the stadium, including perimeter boards, the dugouts and the players' tunnel.
In addition to this, Sportingbet.com will be sponsoring the club's website as well as creating a dedicated Hull KR microsite - www.sportingbet.com/hullkr - with news, offers and competitions throughout the season for fans.
For its part, Hull KR will benefit from the increased exposure that will result from the relationship - both in the UK and overseas. The club will have presence on promotional material and Hull KR related campaigns that Sportingbet.com will be undertaking over the course of the agreement.
Sportingbet.com is one of the world's leading online gaming companies and already has a firm footing in a broad range of sports, in particular football, with high profile sponsorship deals with Premier League teams Wolverhampton Wanderers FC and Portsmouth FC.
This move into Rugby League will help the brand build its overall sporting credentials and Hull KR will subsequently benefit from this expertise.
Sportingbet.com will be present in the stadium, with a comprehensive package of Perimeter Advertising, VIP Hospitality and will offer cutting edge betting services to Hull KR supporters, including In:play betting, that allows fans to get involved in the action and bet while the game is in progress.

Both the home and away shirt will be on display at the club's official shirt launch in Princes Quay Shopping Centre on Saturday 5th December, where supporters will have the very first opportunity to buy both strips.
