GENE AND WHEELDON FACE NO FURTHER ACTION

The RFL today confirmed that there will be no further action taken against Rovers duo Gene and Wheeldon

Hull Kingston Rovers forwards Stanley Gene and Scott Wheeldon have both been cleared to play in Friday’s engage Super League qualifying play-off against Leeds Rhinos at Headingley.

The pair were both placed on report for high tackles during Rovers’ 24-10 defeat at Wakefield Trinity Wildcats on Saturday.

Gene has been issued with a caution while Wheeldon has been told he faces no further action.
