VELLA NAMED IN 19-MAN SQUAD TO FACE BULLS

SKIPPER Mick Vella has been included in the 19-man squad for Saturday's game against Bradford Bulls at Craven Park (kick-off: 5.15pm) as he battles to be fit...

The influential captain was forced to sit out the derby at the KC Stadium after pulling out at the last minute with a rib injury.

Vella has been in fine form in the Robins recent run of good results and is hopeful of leading the team out on Saturday evening.

Liam Colbon is available to make his return against the Bulls, whilst Academy product Frankie Mariano comes into the initial squad in place of the suspended Ben Cockayne.

Before the first team take to the field on Saturday evening, the club's under 20's Academy (Reserve grade) side will also take on the Bulls as part of a double header of action.

Chris Chester's young charges will kick-off at Craven Park at 2.45pm so be sure to get to the ground early and enjoy two games for the price of one.

The under 18's Academy continue their Valvoline Academy Phase 2 fixtures on Saturday morning against Widnes Vikings.

The game is scheduled to kick-off at 11am at Widnes RUFC.
